“Building Meaning” is a rich S.T.E.A.M. curriculum which involves students in community research, envisioning, design and "building" of improvement in their worlds.
Traditional and computer art making practices along with reflexive writing, drawing, diorama, photography, 3d modeling, animation, multimedia and video are explored.
Worked with teens and student teachers supporting them to create a contribution to the anti-violence movement in Chicago using photography and web art.
Teens learned camera handling, sound and editing enabling them to initiate the creation an archive of artist interviews for the Center. Engaged teens allowing and involving them to teach each other.
Mentored teachers and teens at 7 San Francisco High Schools, worked in classrooms with teachers and teens to communicate ideas and tell stories using video, photography, video editing, animation and web design using Adobe Software.

This rich interactive project was created with Adobe tools as part of the YouthLink program at the Bay Area Video Coalition (BAVC) in San Francisco, CA. Participants included graduates of BAVC YouthLink program – a media training program that employs young people to realize their creative voices, learn digital media skills, explore career options, and contribute to their communities.
