Abigail Rudner

design and education

After earning a Bachelor of Fine Arts in Communication Design and Photography from Parsons School of Design, I gained experience at Campbells' Soup Corporation's in house design studio. There, I worked on packaging and promo design for Campbells' many subsidiaries.

A few years at various design agencies followed before I began my own freelance design practice. Working along with my team, our client projects include, identity systems, logos, capabilities brochures, direct mail pieces, print ads, websites, and other materials for a range of organizations, from large corporations and universities, to marketing agencies, small businesses, and non-profits.

Along with all this I am a dedicated educator. In tandem with my design practice, I have worked as an instructor in the community college, university and private sector for the better part of 18 years. I held the role of Lead Mentor at the Bay Area Video Coalition's Producer's Institute for new media technologies and have created curriculum for Adobe and authored several textbooks and movie based training titles for Lynda.com.

In order to strengthen my process as an educator; in 2009 I decided to pursue my master's degree in Art Education at the School of the Art Institute of Chicago.

I completed my degree in 2012 and am now actively seeking teaching and or design projects to fill my schedule.

I would love to speak with you about what you are doing and how we can work together.

Feel free to drop me a line!
